I read the online homepage and was impressed, as someone who usually works on her own vehicles, I was needing some help with some rough idling and some codes that populated. I called to see if I could get a diagnostic ran and was planning on taking a full day off work to have them fix the problem. I called in a little over an hour before closing JUST for diagnostics and verification if the repairs can be done the next day (supposed to be a simple repair we’re just new to dodge) The lady upfront told me they needed at least an hour for diagnostics but said couldn’t tell me if they could be done today (considering I live 10 minutes away from the shop) and said she doesn’t know how long it’s gonna take her to find out if it can be done.. then I explained one of the codes that I got, and it was having rough idle to which she responded I shouldn’t be driving the vehicle if it’s rough idling.. which I know, but I have no choice because it’s my only car and I still have to work and that was the reason I was trying to get some help with it.. I told her that we had some information that it could be the VVT solenoid or the PCV to which she just weirdly agreed to what those parts were as if it matters if she knows what they are or not.. The whole call was very strange, not helpful at all, and as someone who doesn’t usually take their vehicles to repair shops and does them on her own, I was considering taking my vehicle here to get it fixed and continuing maintenance on the vehicle here, but with the way that this call went I want nothing to do with the shop anymore. I would highly recommend having someone else upfront because it was the most frustrating call I have had in a really long time.
